George Deacon is a name many people may know in the arts community in Jacksonville, Florida. He was one of the original artists and pioneers of the Cork Arts District; an artist studio rental space in the neighborhood of Riverside.
During his time there he pursued his passion of film, working as a freelance creator meanwhile promoting the city with his artistic voice as much as possible. After taking a break from art for over a year to hit the road working for Amazon, he found a new desire and passion for his art. Once he landed back in Jacksonville he decided it was time to follow his dream and make the move to Los Angeles, California.

George shares about his new found insight for his work after making the move to Los Angeles and how the city inspires him every today to “get to work.” Creating new and healthy routines has been a part of his daily process as well. He hopes to bring his new found energy back to Jacksonville and begin his work here again. His dream is be bi-coastal and continue to find new inspiration daily.
